Information we handle
Trovune receives your Google account subject identifier, email address, and available profile name for sign-in. It stores an internal user, session, and default workspace linked to that identity.
- Search inputs such as keyword, selected providers, language, date range, and requested result count.
- Public social posts returned for a search, including author details, text, metrics, timestamps, canonical links, and your selected analysis scope.
- Credit grants, reservations, settlements, releases, search counts, and timestamps.
- Provider connection identifiers and encrypted authorization material when you connect a supported social account.
- Security and operational records such as request identifiers, bounded error codes, timing, and audit events. Trovune does not intentionally log passwords, raw OAuth tokens, or browser cookies.
How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate you, operate the workspace features you request, prevent duplicate paid operations, calculate and display credit activity, enforce provider limits, secure the service, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.
- Trovune does not sell personal data.
- Trovune does not use personal or sensitive data for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
- Humans do not read user data except with consent for a specific support request, when necessary to investigate abuse or a security incident, when legally required, or when data has been aggregated and de-identified for internal operations.
Service providers and social platforms
Trovune sends only the data needed to complete an action to the selected identity provider, social platform, cloud hosting, database, and web-delivery services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Google supplies sign-in identity data after you approve the login flow.
- Bluesky receives search and authorization requests when you connect Bluesky and choose it for a search.
- X will receive requests only after official API support is enabled and a user selects X; it is not active in the current private beta.
- Cloud infrastructure providers process encrypted traffic and limited operational data needed to host and protect the service.
Google and Chrome Limited Use
Trovune's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through Chrome permissions is used only to provide or improve Trovune's single user-facing purpose and is not transferred for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Retention and deletion
Raw search queries and collected post records are scheduled for deletion or redaction after 30 days. Short-lived authorization and idempotency records expire sooner when their purpose is complete. Account, workspace, security, consent, credit-ledger, and audit records may remain while the account is active and for the period reasonably needed for security, accounting, dispute prevention, or legal obligations.
- Disconnecting a provider revokes its Trovune connection and removes active authorization material according to the connection lifecycle.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion through support. Some minimal ledger or audit records may be retained where deletion would undermine security, financial integrity, or a legal requirement.
- Files you export are created on your device; you control their later storage and deletion.
Security
Production traffic is intended to use HTTPS. Provider secrets and sensitive authorization state are encrypted at rest, refresh credentials are stored as hashes where applicable, and workspace and command boundaries are enforced server-side. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can choose which provider to connect, which searches to run, which posts to analyze, and whether to export. You can disconnect a provider or contact support about account and data rights. Trovune is not directed to children under the age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date and, when required, an in-product notice or renewed consent. Contact support@trovune.app with privacy questions or requests.
